Chai Masala Hot Toddy

Spiced, strong, and the perfect hot sip for winter.

PREP: 10 min | COOK: 5 min | Serves 1




INGREDIENTS: 


  • 1 1/2 tsp chai masala (preferably, Diaspora)

  • 1 cup water

  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

  • 1 tbs honey

  • 1.5oz whiskey

  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

  • Lemon slice for garnish


INSTRUCTIONS: 

  • In a small saucepan, boil 1 cup of water with chai masala spice. Boil for about 5 minutes. Lower the heat and add lemon juice and honey.

  • In a mug, add one shot of your preferred whiskey. Then, using a small strainer above the mug, strain the chai mixture over the whiskey.

  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and lemon slice. Cozy up and enjoy!
