Chai Masala Hot Toddy

Spiced, strong, and the perfect hot sip for winter.
PREP: 10 min | COOK: 5 min | Serves 1
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 tsp chai masala (preferably, Diaspora)
1 cup water
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 tbs honey
1.5oz whiskey
Cinnamon stick for garnish
Lemon slice for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small saucepan, boil 1 cup of water with chai masala spice. Boil for about 5 minutes. Lower the heat and add lemon juice and honey.
In a mug, add one shot of your preferred whiskey. Then, using a small strainer above the mug, strain the chai mixture over the whiskey.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and lemon slice. Cozy up and enjoy!
