The tomatini is the undisputed drink of summer
PREP: 5 min | Serves 1

INGREDIENTS:
2 muddled cherry tomatoes
basil leaf
juice from one lime
pinch of salt
1 oz vermouth
3 oz vodka or gin
Ice
Freshly cracked black pepper for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
While making the cocktail, or shortly before, place your martini glass in the freezer or add ice to the glass to chill it (dump the ice before pouring your drink).
In a shaker, muddle tomatoes and basil. Add ice to the shaker, along with lime juice, a pinch of salt, vermouth, and your liquor of choice.
Shake for about one minute until the shaker is frosty. Next, remove your martini glass from the freezer and strain your cocktail into the glass.
Garnish with freshly cracked black pepper, and enjoy!
